Exploiters trafficking women and children
Scripture Reading: John 3:19-21
19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Today we pray for those who are tempted to exploit others for their own sexual gratification. Pray for the “Johns” that are hurting others and hurting themselves. Pray that God would change their hearts, pierce their consciences, and bring about deep repentance. Pray that the darkness of their hearts and their actions might be brought into the light, that their shameful deeds done in secret might be exposed so that more victims are not harmed.
God of Love, God of Peace This fractured world
Cries out in pain
Burns deep into my soul And challenges me
To make a difference
God of Love, God of Peace God of this world
Scarred by grief and tears
Ignorance and fear Soften hearts of stone And begin with mine
God of Love, God of Peace Create within me
A heart for people
A desire for change
For new beginnings
To start this day
Pray for spiritual breakthroughs in the lives of these individuals.
